Feasting on the Word
Aggressive Expansion: “Holy Spirit make us zealous for Your Presence, Power and Word!”
On Jul 2, 2023, the Lord released a prophetic word over this house. That in the next 6 months He would supernaturally empower us to read the Bible in its entirety, cover to cover in 6 months. It was declared over us that we would be:
Students of the Word/People of the Word
We would read more scripture this year than ever before
It would not be through our works, but the Lord would give us the hunger
We would long to read His word and know how the story ends
There would be understanding like never before
We would write down the testimonies of people who have read the word of God in the last 6 months and celebrate with them! Their victory would be our victory!
The enemy has tried to attack our reading of scripture, but as we activate the shield of faith we will extinguish the fiery darts of the enemy
The Word of God would be the final authority in your life. You will do what the Word of God says and live according to His ways.
Children were anointed to read the Word of God in 6 months. The Lord said he sees their hunger and honors it. As we partner with our children, it would foster a lifelong love for the Word of God.
The Word became Flesh
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1:1-4
Jesus is the Word
John denotes the essential Word of God, Jesus Christ, the personal wisdom and power in union with God, his minister in creation and government of the universe, the cause of all the world's life both physical and ethical, which for the procurement of man's salvation put on human nature in the person of Jesus the Messiah, the second person in the Godhead, and shone forth conspicuously from His words and deeds.

In John 6, Jesus’ words only affirm John’s perfect introduction.
This indeed is a hard saying. Eat my flesh…drink my blood…whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me. When the disciples of Jesus heard this, many were offended and left Him.
The Word of God became flesh and that flesh is the Bread of Life!
Jesus was not implying that man come and eat Him, but that they would come and feast on the person of Christ, who is the Bread of Life, The Word of God made flesh.
So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. 55 For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. 56 Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he also will live because of me. John 6:53-57
When this is edited by man, when verses are removed from it to make it more relevant for 2023: BEWARE! We are not making edits or revising any old book. We are trying to edit and revise the person of Jesus Christ to make Him suit our sinful, wicked and deceitful ways!
18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book. Revelation 22: 18-19
The Word of God is Holy because it is Christ in written form. It is Christ made known to us through His divine inspiration!!!
Manna for our Spirit
31 Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’” 32 Jesus then said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” 34 They said to him, “Sir, give us this bread always.”
35 Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. John 6: 31-35
What manna was for the Israelites, JESUS the Word of God is for us!
Manna was the perfect food! Containing all the essential nutrients needed for the Israelites to survive physically. If they ate Manna daily, their bodies would lack nothing!
What manna did for the physical life of the Israelites, the Word of God does for our spiritual life! He is our daily bread! He is our perfect portion!
This is why Jesus said: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” Matt 4:4 & Deut 8:3
This is why Jesus taught us to pray:
Give us TODAY our daily BREAD! Matt. 6:11
We are intended to FEAST ON HIM!
LEAN IN TO THIS WORD! Feast on Jesus! The Word made flesh. Don’t allow your flesh to be offended by the language, but today let our heart cry be like Simon Peter’s where could we go, but to you Lord? FOR YOU ONLY HAVE THE WORDS OF ETERNAL LIFE! (v.68)
